Hi! I’m Joel, a Technical Designer, and Show Control Engineer from the UK.
I currently work as a Senior/Lead programmer and audio design lead at Holovis International, where I help create immersive, themed interactive experiences for global brands and attractions. I’ve been working with Holovis for over three years, contributing to a wide range of multidisciplinary projects that blend technology, storytelling, and sound.
I specialise in games development and design, and have experience designing and implementing systems for everything from interactive and Immersive exhibits to full-scale games. I’m particularly passionate about adaptive audio, and how music and sound design can shape gameplay and emotional tone.
I am also a skilled show control engineer, with experience in Q-sys, Dante, and Pixera, and Cogs and have used these software to create seamless AV experiences across the world for brands like Netflix, HBOMaxx and Aroya Cruise Ships
